According to BasketNews sources, Monaco has submitted an offer to ASVEL for Lee, and the player is ready to make the move. However, the final decision now rests with ASVEL.

The Roca Team explored the market in response to injuries that have depleted Monaco's backcourt rotation in pre-season.

Lee, who signed in Villeurbanne in 2023 until 2025, scored 12 points in a dominant win over JDA Dijon in ASVEL's pre-season finale.

Last season, in his third EuroLeague campaign, Lee averaged 11.5 points, 1.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.7 steals, leading ASVEL with a 13.7 PIR, tying with Nando De Colo but playing 12 more games.

Lee previously played for Monaco in their debut EuroLeague season, where he averaged 7.2 points and 2.4 assists, catching the attention of Panathinaikos Athens, which he joined for the 2022-23 season.

Monaco will kick off their French league campaign on September 20th with an away game against Saint-Quentin.

Their EuroLeague season begins shortly after, with a home matchup against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan on October 3rd.
