The 33-year-old point guard completed his three-year stint with Olympiacos Piraeus a few days ago, but he didn't stay a free agent for long. Even though several teams were vying for his signature, it was Panathinaikos who made a strong push and eventually won the battle by reportedly offering Sloukas 3 million euros per year.

Hence, the Greek international took the big step and signed with the Reds' main rivals, becoming the second Greek player after Ioannis Papapetrou to make that route from Piraeus to OAKA.
