Despite the win, Panathinaikos head coach Ergin Ataman wasn't satisfied with his team’s performance and used the post-game press conference to address what he sees as harmful media behavior toward the club.
"They must stop provoking people against us," Ataman said firmly. "You need to understand — we won the title last year because we deserved it, without anyone’s help. And we’ll win it again the same way — without any help."
Ataman appeared to be referencing the media’s influence on Panathinaikos fans, suggesting that the narratives being pushed are not only swaying public opinion but also having a negative impact on the club itself.
"Stop provoking the people, they’re young and influenced by what you say. Stop it," Ataman said, concluding the press conference.
