Jalen Brunson gave it his all, but failed to defend New York Knicks' home court against the Detroit Pistons.

Brunson scored 37 points (12/27 FG) and dished out 7 assists in a narrow 100-94 loss to the Pistons.

Looking at individual stats though, Brunson became one step closer to a Knicks postseason record.

Brunson overtook Willis Reed and is now second on the list of 30-point games for the Knicks in the playoffs, with 13 of them.

Only person ahead of Brunson on the list is Patrick Ewing, who dropped 30 or more in a Knicks uniform in the playoffs 18 times.
