The decision will open up two roster spots, allowing the Nets to sign Killian Hayes and Tyrese Martin.
Hayes, who participated in the Nets' training camp, has impressed the organization with his play in the G League.
With the Long Island Nets, he has been putting up solid numbers, averaging 21 points and 8.3 assists per game, showcasing his potential and readiness to make an impact at the NBA level.
Meanwhile, Martin, a two-way guard, will also get his chance to earn a full-time role with Brooklyn after showing promise.
This season, Martin played in 39 games for the Nets with averages of 7.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game
Bogdanovic, who joined the Nets in a trade earlier in the season, will go through a season-ending surgery.
