Along with Washington's Jonas Valanciunas, the Knicks have also checked in on Philadelphia's Guerschon Yabusele and New Orleans' Daniel Theis, according to Ian Begley of SNY.
If New York wants to acquire a quality player in return, they would likely need to move Mitchell Robinson. However, concerns about his health have lowered his trade value.
Valanciunas has been a frequent name in Los Angeles Lakers trade rumors since the summer, while Yabusele has drawn interest from multiple contenders, including the Celtics, Timberwolves, and Nuggets.
This season, Yabusele is averaging 11.0 points on 51.5% shooting from the field and 40.2% from three, along with 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists. Valanciunas is posting 11.5 points and 8.2 rebounds, while Theis is contributing 4.3 points and 4.3 rebounds.
All the teams linked to these Knicks' targets are currently outside of the Play-In picture.
