Los Angeles Lakers newest acquisition Luka Doncic still can't make his debut with the purple and gold uniform just yet, as he's still going through a recovery process after an injury.

Doncic suffered a calf injury on Christmas day and hasn't played since. He has already missed more games this season than in any other season of his career, but he should be back very soon per reports.

According to NBA insider Marc Stein, the Slovenian superstar has fully recovered from a left calf strain suffered on Christmas Day and has been cleared for 5-on-5 action and will make his debut on Feb. 10, Monday against the Utah Jazz.

Shams Charania from ESPN earlier reported that Doncic could return to action on Saturday, Feb. 8.

Earlier, Marc Spears of ESPN shared a similar insight, claiming Luka Doncic should make his debut with the Lakers either on Feb. 10, when the Lakers play the Jazz in Los Angeles, or Feb. 12, when they travel to Utah.

Those are the final two games that the Lakers will play before the All-Star break. They will not play again until Feb. 19 against Charlotte.

Before suffering an injury, Doncic was averaging 28.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 7.8 assists through 22 games this season.
