Robert Covington and Frank Kaminsky are making their USA Basketball debut at the FIBA AmeriCup starting this November.
Team USA just unveiled their 12-man roster, which is headlined by Robert Covington and Frank Kaminsky, for the upcoming FIBA AmeriCup qualifiers.
Other members are Keita Bates-Diop, Henry Ellenson, Dusty Hannahs, Nate Hinton, Jahmi’us Ramsey, Chasson Randle, Javonte Smart, David Stockton, Paul Watson, and Malik Williams.
The US, which posted a 1-1 record in the first window of the qualifiers in February 2024, will host Puerto Rico on November 22 and the Bahamas on November 25 in Washington, D.C.
It will be the first time that Covington and Kaminsky, as well as Bates-Diop, Watson, and Williams, will play for USA Basketball.
Covington, who last played for the Philadelphia 76ers, has averaged 10.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game in his NBA career, while Kaminsky has career averages of 8.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists.
Team USA will be coached by former NBA head coach Stephen Silas.
