Khem Birch signed a 1-year deal with Fenerbahce until the end of the 2024-25 season.
Just before the 2024-25 season, Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul made another addition to their squad.
The Turkish powerhouse announced that it agreed to a 1-year deal with Khem Birch.
Birch played for Girona Basquet in the Spanish Liga Endesa (ACB) last season after joining the club in February 2024, where he averaged 8.8 points and 5.7 rebounds.
The former NBA big man represented the Canadian national team in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games this summer, averaging 3.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.
Previously, it was reported that Birch is set to replace Luka Samanic. However, Fenerbahce haven't confirmed Samanic's departure but revealed that the Croatian forward has taken a leave of absence for personal reasons.
"The process is being closely monitored by our officials, and the necessary information regarding our player's situation will be provided in the coming days. We'll present it to the public," Fenerbahce confirmed in a released statement.
