Sehmus Hazer, departing Fenerbahce as a free agent, considers offers abroad and prepares for a potential NBA opportunity.
Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul have officially announced the departure of guard Sehmus Hazer.
Hazer, 25, has become a free agent following this season. He has been with Fenerbahce since 2021.
According to Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews, Hazer received a contract extension offer from Fenerbahce. However, the playmaker is considering options abroad where he can have a larger role and showcase his talent.
In addition, sources told BasketNews that Hazer has been invited to participate in the Sacramento Kings mini-camp. He will work out for the NBA club from July 2 to 5 and could play in the Las Vegas Summer League.
During this past season, Hazer appeared in six EuroLeague games, averaging 0.3 points in 6 minutes per game.
