Fenerbahce have extended team captain Melih Mahmutoglu's contract for one more year, continuing his 11-season tenure with the club.
Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul have officially announced a new one-year contract with team captain Melih Mahmutoglu.
The 34-year-old shooting guard's deal was expiring, but he has decided to continue his long-standing relationship with the club.
Mahmutoglu has been a key part of Fenerbahce since the 2013-14 season, wearing the team's jersey for 11 seasons.
Throughout his tenure, he has helped the team secure one EuroLeague championship, six Turkish League titles, four Turkish Cups, and three Presidential Cups.
Last season, Mahmutoglu appeared in 10 EuroLeague games, averaging 1.9 points in about 5 minutes per game.
