Tyler Dorsey joins Olympiacos on a three-year deal after leaving Fenerbahce.
Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul have officially parted ways with shooting guard Tyler Dorsey.
Following this announcement, Olympiacos Piraeus announced that they had signed Dorsey to a three-year deal.
The Greek-American guard had one more year left on his contract with Fener, but both sides agreed to end their partnership.
Dorsey played in Piraeus during the 2021-22 season. He reached career-high averages of 12.8 points and 2.0 assists per contest there. The 28-year-old won the Greek League and Cup with the Reds, in addition to being named the MVP in the latter competition.
The California-born guard averaged 8.7 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 7.5 PIR over 38 EuroLeague games at Fenerbahce this past season.
He produced 7 points overall in Fenerbahce's two Final Four matches. What's more, he only scored one basket in Games 4 and 5 of the playoff series against Monaco. All things considered, he never found a clear-defined role and consistent minutes within Sarunas Jasikevicius' system.
