Fenerbahce officially announced that the club and Georgios Papagiannis parted ways.
After just one season with Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, Georgios Papagiannis leaves the Turkish powerhouse.

Fenerbahce confirmed the Greek center's departure in an official announcement.
After the Greece national team's win in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying tournament, Papagiannis confirmed he's set to join AS Monaco.
"Nick supported me not only on the field but also off. He is a great guy. If I could convey the love he has for the national team... At the age he is, you ask whether he will play for the national team, and he says, 'I'll be there.' He was one of the main reasons I chose to go to Monaco," Papagiannis revealed in the mixed zone after the win against Croatia.
In 39 EuroLeague appearances last season, Papagiannis averaged 5.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.8 blocks, and 7.2 PIR per game.
The 27-year-old was one of the key players who guided Greece in the Olympic Qualifying Tournament's final win.
The Greek center finished the game with 19 points (2/2 2PT, 5/8 3PT), 2 rebounds, 1 block, and 16 EFF.
During the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament, Papagiannis averaged 12.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.0 block, and 13.5 EFF per game in four appearances.
