Maccabi hve extended Rafi Menco's contract for the upcoming season, keeping the 30-year-old forward with the team for a third consecutive year.
Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv have announced that Rafael Menco will be extending his contract for the upcoming season.
The 30-year-old forward, who also plays for the Israel national team, has been with the team for the past two seasons and has contributed to their last two championships and the Winner Cup.
"I'm excited to stay with the club for a third year and can't wait for the new season to begin," Menco said on the team's official website. "We have many challenges ahead, but I'm confident that with the support of our fans, we'll overcome them all."
This upcoming season will be Menco's 12th in the Israeli top league.
Last campaign, he averaged 21.9 minutes per game during the domestic league's regular season, scoring 8.5 points and grabbing 4.9 rebounds per game. In the playoffs, he added 6.3 points and 3.4 rebounds per game, while also providing strong defense, leadership, and energy.
In the EuroLeague, Menco appeared in 20 games, averaging 1.9 points and 1.1 rebounds per match.
