John DiBartolomeo has extended his contract with Maccabi for another two years.
Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv have extended John DiBartolomeo's contract for another two years, as per their official announcement.
The energetic guard recently won his sixth Israeli championship in seven years with the team and is on track to become the longest-serving captain in the club's history.
"Maccabi and Israel are my home. I can't wait to get back on the court and start the season. Maccabi is in my heart," DiBartolomeo told the official Maccabi website.
The 33-year-old landed in Tel Aviv in 2017 after a stint with Maccabi Haifa. In his first season, he took over the captaincy from Itay Segev.
Last season, DiBartolomeo led the EuroLeague in free throw percentage, making all 20 of his attempts (100%). He averaged 4.8 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 5.5 PIR over 29 games.
