Serge Ibaka returned to Real Madrid on a 1-year deal that will be valid until the end of the 2024-25 season, the club confirmed.

The Spanish powerhouse announced that Ibaka signed a 1-year deal that will keep him in the club until the end of the 2024-25 season.

The 34-year-old spent the last season playing for FC Bayern Munich, averaging 12.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, 1.2 assists, and 15.8 PIR per game in 28 EuroLeague appearances.

Ibaka played for Real Madrid in the 2011-12 campaign before departing for the NBA. Back then, he averaged 15 minutes, 5.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, and 9.2 PIR per game in 6 EuroLeague appearances for Real.

Before his return to Europe last year, Ibaka had a 14-year NBA career. 

He won the NBA title in 2019 with the Toronto Raptors and had career averages of 12.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.9 blocks, and 0.8 assists in 919 appearances for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Orlando Magic, Raptors, Los Angeles Clippers, and Milwaukee Bucks.
