NBA players are the highest-paid group by a wide margin. For example, 10 of Canada's NBA players make an average on-court salary of $16.2 million.
LeBron James is in first place, with earnings valued at $128.8 million. These earnings include LeBron's salary at the Los Angeles Lakers and his endorsement deals.
LeBron is also the only self-made billionaire of all Olympics participants.
Right behind him is Greek superstar Giannis Antetokoumnpo, who earned $111 million in the last year. Just like LeBron, Giannis earns more through endorsement deals compared to his salary with the Bucks.
3rd placed is another Team USA member, Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors legend who earns $102 million.
