"I hope so, because it would let me focus solely on the Olympic Qualifiers. Right now, we are waiting," he told EFE.

According to MARCA's Jose Luiz Martinez, a verbal agreement for a 2+1 year deal with Real Madrid has been reached.

However, both parties are still negotiating the €500,000 termination clause in Feliz's current contract with Joventut, which was extended in February and runs until 2026.

Madrid is trying to reduce this amount, but the negotiations are advanced, and an official agreement is expected soon.

"It's not official yet, but it's in progress," Feliz said. "It would be a great opportunity for me, my family, and my career. I am always grateful to Joventut for bringing me to the league and Spain. If the Real Madrid deal happens, it would be a significant step in my career."

The 26-year-old guard is coming off a successful season in Badalona, where he was named to the All-EuroCup Second Team. Feliz ranked sixth in the EuroCup in assists (5.1 apg) and third in steals (2.1 spg). He also led Joventut in scoring (14.7 ppg) and was second in rebounds (4.7 rpg).
