Following the conclusion of the Game, the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) submitted a protest regarding a timekeeping operations error (the game clock ran for 22 seconds while the game was stopped).

Duda Sanadze was one of the protagonists in the incident during the game between Georgia and Turkey.  Sanadze and Furkan Korkmaz faced each other face to face after exchanging some words and everything escalated to disqualifying fouls for both players. Korkmaz said that Sanadze was provoking him, saying some bad words, which he couldn't let slide.

Everyone, who sat next to the tunnel where Shengelia was standing, crowded the area in an attempt to receive the autograph or a picture with the 30-year-old.
