All four players and both basketball federations received fines from FIBA.
The investigation opened by FIBA following the allegations from both National Federations in relation to incidents at the FIBA EuroBasket 2022 game between Turkey and Georgia is now concluded.

In accordance with the FIBA Regulations, the Disciplinary Panel has imposed the following sanctions:
• Goga Bitadze receives a fine of 15,000 CHF and is put on a three-year period of probation. If the player commits the same or similar offense during the probationary period, he will immediately be suspended for 5 Official Games, in addition to any sanction imposed for the new offense.
• Duda Sanadze receives a fine of 3,000 CHF and is put on a three-year period of probation. If the player commits the same or similar offense during the probationary period, he will immediately be suspended for 1 Official Game, in addition to any sanction imposed for the new offense.
• Tornike Shengelia receives a fine of 5,000 CHF and is put on a three-year period of probation. If the player commits the same or similar offense during the probationary period, he will immediately be suspended for 2 Official Games, in addition to any sanction imposed for the new offense.
• Furkan Korkmaz receives a fine of 6,000 CHF and is put on a three-year period of probation. If the player commits the same or similar offense during the probationary period, he will immediately be suspended for 3 Official Games, in addition to any sanction imposed for the new offense.
• A fine of CHF 40,000 CHF to the Georgian Basketball Federation.
• A fine of CHF 15,000 CHF to the Turkish Basketball Federation.
