Boston Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum has suffered an injury in the Game 1 win against the Orlando Magic, 103-86, in the first round of the playoffs.

According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Tatum underwent an MRI on his right shooting-hand wrist and has been diagnosed with a bruised bone in his wrist.

His injury status is listed as day-to-day as of now, and his availability for Game 2 of the series is currently in doubt, although it's believed to be a pain-tolerance injury.

This season, Tatum has averaged 26.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 6.0 assists, and is for sure the most important piece for the Celtics on their route to compete for a repeat this season.
