NBA legend and future Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony has been named co-general manager of the basketball program at his alma mater, Oak Hill Academy, according to NBA insider Brandon "Scoop B" Robinson.

"I’ve had my time on the court, and now it’s about helping put the right people in position to lead and elevate the next generation," Melo said of his new role with Oak Hill.
Located in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, Oak Hill Academy is widely recognized as one of the premier high school basketball programs in the nation.
The school has produced a long list of NBA talent, including Kevin Durant, Rajon Rondo, and Brandon Jennings. Anthony, one of its most iconic alumni, graduated in 2002 after a dominant high school career that set the stage for his one-and-done season at Syracuse and eventual NBA stardom.
Now, he's returning to where it all began—this time not as a player, but as a mentor and leader, shaping the path for future stars.
