Ja Morant tweaked his ankle in the third quarter but played through the pain to finish the game. Fortunately, the injury is not expected to sideline him for the next matchup.
The Memphis Grizzlies suffered a narrow 116-121 loss to the Golden State Warriors in a Play-In matchup for the seventh seed.

Despite the defeat, they will still have a chance to redeem themselves in the final Play-In game, where they’ll face the winner of the Sacramento Kings–Dallas Mavericks matchup for the last playoff spot.
However, there are some concerns regarding the health of their star, Ja Morant. With four minutes left in the third quarter, Morant appeared to tweak his ankle and was seen rolling on the floor in pain while clutching it.
He later returned to the game and finished with 22 points in 34 minutes of action.
TNT’s Allie LaForce reported that although Morant’s body hasn’t been at 100% this season, he’s learned to play through injuries.
LaForce also provided the latest update on Morant's condition:
"I just spoke to the PR staff. They’re not doing an X-ray tonight and aren’t providing an official update on his ankle," LaForce reported postgame.
"They feel he finished the game properly. He’s going to try to keep it loose, and tomorrow we’ll see how it feels when he wakes up. But for now, it seems like the best-case scenario for Memphis and Ja," she added.
