Golden State was carried by its star duo, Jimmy Butler and Stephen Curry, who combined for more than half of the team’s points in the win.
Butler delivered a standout performance, scoring 38 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and dishing out 6 assists. He also set a Play-In record for free throw attempts, going 12-for-18 from the line.
Curry added 37 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 assists, and was flawless from the free-throw line, hitting all 13 of his attempts.
On the other side, the Grizzlies were led by Desmond Bane with 30 points, while Ja Morant contributed 22 points.
With the win, the Warriors advance to face the second-seeded Houston Rockets in the first round of the playoffs. The Grizzlies, meanwhile, will have one more chance to earn a playoff spot when they face the winner of the Kings-Mavericks Play-In matchup for the final seed.
