In a conversation after their crucial win against the Toronto Raptors, Davis reflected on the intense nature of the Play-In Tournament, likening it to the single-elimination format of college basketball.
"Just like college, one and done. One game, win or go home. We gotta have that mindset, one game at a time. There is pressure... You have to come in ready to go," Davis said, per Joey Mistretta.
In a win against the Raptors, Davis put on a standout performance, almost securing a quadruple-double with 23 points, 13 rebounds, 10 assists, and an impressive 7 blocks.
