Despite a disappointing season that ended without a playoff appearance, Booker expressed how much he values playing with Durant, calling it "a joy."
Even as trade rumors swirl around Kevin Durant, one thing remains clear. The bond between Durant and Devin Booker is strong, and their chemistry on the court hasn’t gone unnoticed.
After the last game of the Phoenix Suns season against the San Antonio Spurs, Booker didn’t hold back his admiration for Durant.
"I mean, we still play together, but it's just been a joy," Booker said, via Gerald Bourguet of PHNX Sports. "From my favorite player to teammate, I don't take it lightly, our relationship on and off the court… We're right here."
Durant and Booker teamed up during the 2022-23 season after the Suns pulled off a blockbuster trade to land the former MVP.
Since then, the Suns have built a talented core, including Bradley Beal, forming a "Big Three" that had the league buzzing. But despite the hype, the results have fallen short.
Phoenix ended up missing the postseason entirely, having a 36-45 record.
