Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker believes a lack of "winning habits" ultimately cost them their season.
The Phoenix Suns have officially been eliminated from postseason contention following a blowout home loss to the Golden State Warriors, 95-133.
Devin Booker led the Suns with 21 points but expressed clear disappointment after the game.
When asked what he found most frustrating about the season, Booker gave a blunt four-word response that spoke volumes about the team’s struggles.
"Just no winning habits," he told reporter Barry Bloom.
The Suns entered the season with the most expensive roster in NBA history, according to Evan Sidery, yet will fall short of even making the Play-In Tournament. Phoenix now holds a 35-44 record, tying them with the Portland Trail Blazers for 11th place in the Western Conference.
