Paris Basketball head coach Tiago Splitter highly praised point guard T.J. Shorts, claiming his game-reading ability is on par with NBA legend Tony Parker.
Paris Basketball has caught the attention of many with their outstanding performance in the EuroLeague this season.
Leading the charge is their guard, T.J. Shorts II, who has established himself as one of Europe's top point guards and a strong contender for the EuroLeague MVP title.
Shorts has amazed everyone with his remarkable performances, displaying exceptional skill and effectiveness despite his size. His impact has turned heads across the basketball world.
In an interview with Gigantes, Paris Basketball's head coach, Tiago Splitter, shared what makes Shorts a standout player and even compared him to some of the NBA’s finest.
"He’s a spectacular player. Yes, he’s small, but he’s also very explosive, very fast, and very smart. Very, very smart. I’ve played with great point guards like Huertas, Prigioni, Calderon, Tony Parker… And T.J., in terms of game reading, is at the same level as them," Splitter revealed.
This season, Shorts is averaging 19 points, 2.8 rebounds, and a league-leading 7.5 assists per game. His leadership has propelled Paris Basketball to a historic postseason appearance in their debut EuroLeague season.
