Gilgeous-Alexander reached the 10,000-point milestone for the Oklahoma City Thunder in just 368 games, surpassing Durant's previous record of 381 games.

Durant, known as one of the most prolific scorers in NBA history, set the bar high with an average of about 26.2 points per game during his early years in Oklahoma City.

His scoring dominance included four scoring titles in his first six seasons. But SGA has now etched his name ahead of Durant in the Thunder’s record books.

At the time of his 10,000th point, Gilgeous-Alexander was averaging 27.2 points per game, and his scoring has been even more impressive in recent years.

While Durant had the edge in scoring during their early careers, SGA has turned the corner in the last three seasons, averaging over 30 points per game each year, including this season, where he’s currently scoring 32 points per game and is even in the conversation for the MVP award.

In Wednesday’s thrilling 118-112 victory over the Boston Celtics, Gilgeous-Alexander poured in 32 points, dished 7 assists, and grabbed 5 rebounds.

The Thunder are currently the 1st seat in the Western Conference and have already clinched the playoff spot.
