In an update from FC Barcelona, it was announced that Juan Nunez has undergone successful surgery to treat a tear in the meniscus of his right knee.

The procedure took place on Tuesday afternoon at the Hospital de Barcelona, and it was carried out by renowned surgeon Dr. Joan Carles Monllau.

The expected recovery time for Nunez is approximately six months, a setback that will keep him sidelined for the rest of the season.

The 20-year-old guard averaged 5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assists this season in the EuroLeague.

Barcelona is currently ninth in the standings, still fighting for the playoffs with a 15-13 record.

Their next EuroLeague game is against Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade on March 14.
