Barcelona head coach Joan Pennaroya responded after Dame Sarr's brilliant performance against Breogan, asking for patience.
Barcelona easily won against Rio Breogan with 102-79 score in Liga ACB.
Catalan squad was led by Italian prodigy Dame Sarr, who scored 21 points in 23 minutes, shooting 8/10 FG (5/5 2PT, 3/5 3PT, 2/4 FT).
Barcelona's head coach Joan Pennaroya responded to Sarr's performance in the press conference post game:
"He had a great game, it's unusual to see such a young kid with these numbers in this league," said the coach about the young Italian, who has become the second player in the history of the ACB to surpass 20 points in a game without losing a ball, after the Latvian Kristaps Porzingis.
Peñarroya also warned that it is the coach's job to "tone down the 'soufflé' a little" since the role of young players in a competition like the ACB "is not easy" because "performances like today's will not always be repeated."
