Jaylen Hoard will be out for at least two more weeks due to a muscle tear.
After a torn hamstring muscle in his left leg that kept him out of action for a month, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv center Jaylen Hoard is suffering from another injury that keeps him out of Oded Katash's squad for the Tel Aviv derby against Hapoel this Sunday.
Following his recovery, Hoard felt pain in the hamstring muscle in his right leg. He was tested and diagnosed with a torn muscle, and that the forward will undergo another MRI scan in two weeks.
Hoard, one of Maccabi Tel Aviv's key players, averaged 13.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.1 steals in 26.1 minutes per game in the Israeli Premier League this season, along with 15 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.3 steals in 31:03 minutes per game in the EuroLeague.
Maccabi have a streak of four wins in all competitions, their longest of the season, and are coming off a good momentum after surprising Fenerbahce on Thursday despite playing with a shortened roster.
