The Los Angeles Clippers have signed Patrick Baldwin Jr and Seth Lundy, in addition to waving Kai Jones, who's heading to the Dallas Mavericks.
The Los Angeles Clippers are enhancing their roster by signing wings Patrick Baldwin Jr. and Seth Lundy to two-way contracts while waiving Kai Jones.
This move comes as the team promotes Jordan Miller to the standard 15-man roster, opening two two-way spots as their current number amounts to three. These transactions will bring the Clippers to a full 18-man roster.
Baldwin, the 28th pick in the 2022 draft, has averaged 3.7 points and 2.0 rebounds over 91 NBA games.
Lundy, selected 46th overall in 2023, has not played this season due to an ankle injury. He appeared in 9 NBA games last season on a two-way contract.
Kai Jones averaged 2.2 points and 1.6 rebounds in 28 games for the Clippers this season. He's the second player to be waived by the franchise after MarJon Beauchamp.
NBA insider Chris Haynes has reported that Jones will be added by the Mavericks on a two-way deal. The signing won’t become official until the player clears waivers. The Bahamas native did not appear in an NBA game last season. He played in two games for the Delaware Blue Coats of the G League.
