After taking down Nikola Jokic and company with a 121-112 victory on Thursday night, the Bucks are adding forward/center Pete Nance on a two-way contract, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Pete, 25, is the son of three-time NBA All-Star Larry Nance Sr. and the younger brother of Atlanta Hawks big man Larry Nance Jr.
He played four seasons at Northwestern before finishing his college career at North Carolina in 2022-23.
Though he has yet to experience the postseason at any level, Nance now has a chance to contribute to a Bucks team looking to solidify its standing in the Eastern Conference.
Milwaukee, currently 33-25, is fighting to keep pace with the Boston Celtics and other contenders as the regular season winds down.
Nance has played 15 total NBA games across two seasons, including a brief stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers and seven appearances for the Philadelphia 76ers earlier this year. He holds career averages of 1.2 points and 0.9 rebounds in 6.3 minutes per game.
