The Lakers have signed Alex Len, in order to fill in Anthony Davis' void and after the trade involving Mark Williams fell through.
Following Luka Doncic's trade, the Los Angeles Lakers were desperately looking for a big man to fill the void that Anthony Davis left.
J. J. Redick's choice was Mark Williams of the Hornets, but he failed to pass medical tests, and the trade that would have sent him to Los Angeles and Dalton Knecht to Charlotte was cancelled.
However, the Lakers soon found an alternative in Ukrainian center Alex Len, 31, who counts a total of 680 games (240 as a starter), with an average of 6.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per 17.1 minutes.
In order for the deal to materialize, the Lakers had to release Christian Wood, who will miss the rest of the season.
