Dame Sarr, 18, has been promoted to the first Barca team for the 2024-25 season.
Dame Sarr will be part of FC Barcelona's first team for the 2024-25 season. The Catalan club is placing its faith in this talented 18-year-old guard, who stands 1.98 meters tall and has been developed in their youth system.
Sarr made history as the second-youngest player to debut for Barcelona in the ACB League during the 2022-23 season, making his first appearance against Bilbao Basket.
He also made his EuroLeague debut last season on November 3, 2023, against Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens and later participated in a EuroLeague match against Zalgiris Kaunas.
Born in Oderzo (Treviso, Italy), Sarr began playing basketball in 2012 at the age of six. He remained with his hometown team until 2019.
At the recent U18 European Championship, Sarr averaged 13.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.7 assists for Italy.
