6-year NBA veteran Chimezie Metu reached an agreement with FC Barcelona, according to Evan Sidery from Forbes Sports.
Sidery reports that the 27-year-old already signed his contract with Barcelona. However, the contract details are not specified.
Metu was selected with the No. 49 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs. Throughout his career, Metu played for the Spurs, Sacramento Kings, Phoenix Suns, and Detroit Pistons.
Metu made 260 appearances in the NBA and had averages of 5.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game.
Last season, Metu played for the Suns and Pistons, averaging 6.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game in 51 appearances.
