Nikola Kalinic signed a three-year contract with Crvena Zvezda, starting his third stint with the team.
Serbian forward Nikola Kalinic has moved from FC Barcelona to Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade, according to an official announcement. The deal is for three seasons.
Kalinic played for Crvena Zvezda during the 2021-22 season, where he averaged 12.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.4 assists for 11.7 PIR over 32 EuroLeague games. His first stint with the Serbian team was back in the 2014-15 campaign.
Kalinic's contract with Barcelona expired, allowing him to join his former team in free agency.
During this past EuroLeague season, the 32-year-old averaged 7.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 8.3 PIR over 39 games.
Kalinic will have a free summer to prepare for the new stint. He will skip the Paris Olympics, previously announcing his retirement from the Serbian national team.
