Justin Anderson signed a one-year deal with FC Barcelona after previously playing for Valencia Basket last season. It will be his third Spanish club in a row.
Just days before the start of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, FC Barcelona added a new player to the roster.
The Catalan club announced that Justin Anderson is joining the organization on a one-year deal.
Anderson played for Valencia Basket last season, averaging 6.1 points and 2.2 rebounds for 3.8 PIR on 57.1% two-point and 33.3% three-point shooting. His stats were better in the Spanish Liga Endesa (ACB) - 9.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists for 8 PIR (50.9% 2PT, 39.3% 3PT).
This will be Anderson's third Spanish club in a row after arriving to play in Europe from the NBA, having previously represented Rio Breogan in the 2022-23 season.
The 30-year-old forward spent 7 seasons in the NBA prior to the move, playing for the Dallas Mavericks, Philadelphia 76ers, Atlanta Hawks, Indiana Pacers, Brooklyn Nets, and Cleveland Cavaliers.
Anderson held career NBA averages of 5.3 points and 2.6 rebounds on 29.2% three-point shooting.
