The Brooklyn Nets declined to submit a tender offer to Isaia Cordinier — 44th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft — and allowed him to become a free agent, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
With established vet additions leaving no opportunity to make a roster, Nets let All-EuroCup guard free to sign elsewhere.
Nets acquired his rights in Jeremy Lin trade with Atlanta (2018).
Last season Isaia Cordinier represented Nanterre 92. The 1.96-meter athlete averaged 15.8 points (45% 3PT), 5.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.7 steals in 13 EuroCup games.
The European market for Cordinier has been strong over the past few months. But so far the player has maintained his intention on giving the priority to the NBA.
