The Utah Jazz have officially waived forward Jarrell Brantley, the 50th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. The player spent the past two seasons with the Jazz under a two-way contract. He averaged 2.3 points and 1 rebound in 28 games in the past regular season.
According to a report from Tony Jones of The Athletic, the Jazz and Brantley worked in an amicable way to part ways. Brantley is receiving interest from Euroleague clubs that'd give him security both financially and in terms of playing time.
In the 2019-2020 season, Brantley had a good year in G League with the Salt Lake City Stars, averaging 18.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in 33 games.
