Australian guard Dante Exum returns to the Houston Rockets, per the official club's report.
The 5th overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft spent last season in Cleveland but only played six games due to a calf injury. Injuries have plagued the 26-year-old during his whole career.
However, Exum returned to full health in the Tokyo Olympics and helped Australia win bronze medals by averaging 9.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 9.2 PIR over 20 minutes.
Exum was sent to the Rockets in the blockbuster move that resulted in James Harden landing in Brooklyn at the start of last season. However, he did not play any games for the Texas team.
He has also been a part of the Utah Jazz (2014-19).
Dante Exum's NBA career averages are 5.7 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 245 games.
