The Dallas Mavericks have officially announced the signing of French guard Frank Ntilikina. The player spent the first four seasons of his NBA career with the New York Knicks, the team that originally drafted him in the 2017 draft with the 8th pick overall.
With the signing of Ntilikina, the Mavericks have now 20 players on their roster for the training camp, the maximum allowed by the league. 14 players have a guaranteed contract, so Ntilikina will fight for the last spot on the roster during the training camp. The French player averaged 2.7 points in 33 games last season with the Knicks.
The New York Times reporter Marc Stein originally reported about Mavericks' interest in Ntilikina. At the Olympics Games in Tokyo, Ntilikina averaged 2 points and 1.8 assists per game with French NT.
