Free agent DeMarcus Cousins could be on his way to the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA).
According to the Chinese outlet sohu.com, five CBA clubs asked for Cousins’ resume, while three of them are showing a strong interest. It’s yet to be seen whether the deal could be agreed.
Cousins finished last season with the Los Angeles Clippers, and in 16 games, he averaged 7.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1 assist.
Before moving to the Clippers, Cousins also played for the Houston Rockets. In the 2020-21 season, he played 41 games, averaging 8.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.
Cousins’ best season was back in 2016-17 when he put up 27 points, 11 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game.
