Pistons won their first postseason game after almost 17 years of waiting.

Last time they won a playoffs match was on 26th of May in 2008, when they won Game 4 of Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics.

For the next 16 years, every time they would participate in the playoffs they would get swept in the first round.
