Jayson Tatum reassured fans after suffering a hard fall on his right wrist during the Celtics Game 1 win over the Magic, saying the X-rays came back clean.
Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum had a brief injury scare in Game 1 of the first-round playoff series against the Orlando Magic, but the All-Star forward quickly eased any concerns after the game.

Midway through the fourth quarter, Tatum drove to the basket and was met at the rim by Magic defenders Wendell Carter Jr. and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
The hard contact from Caldwell-Pope, which earned him a flagrant 1 foul, sent Tatum crashing to the floor. He landed awkwardly on his right wrist and stayed down for a few moments in visible pain.
After the Celtics closed out a 103-86 win, Tatum confirmed that an X-ray on the wrist came back clear.
"It's alright," Tatum said in his postgame press conference. "I just landed on it and it was throbbing for a second. It kind of went away.”
Despite the scare, Tatum stayed in the game until the final minutes and finished with 17 points, 14 rebounds, and a team-best plus-23 rating. His shooting wasn't sharp, he went 8-for-22 from the field.
The win gave Boston a 1-0 lead in the series and marked their sixth win in their last seven playoff openers. The Celtics will look to keep that momentum going in Game 2, set for Wednesday night at TD Garden.
