Behind a clutch performance from Tyler Herro, who dropped 30 points and hit two huge threes in overtime, the Heat battled past the Atlanta Hawks 123-114.
Davion Mitchell also came up big late, scoring only 7 points in regulation but catching fire in overtime, where he nailed three triples to help finish the job.
With the win, the Heat advance to face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
The Heat ended the regular season with a record of 37-45.
