The Mavericks were eliminated after a 120–106 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, a game where Memphis took control early and never looked back.

Despite Anthony Davis dropping 40 points and battling through a leg injury, Dallas couldn’t keep pace.

The loss capped off a rollercoaster year for the Mavericks, who made one of the season’s biggest moves by trading franchise cornerstone Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Davis.

Dallas finished the regular season with a 39-43 record, securing a spot in the Play-In despite dealing with multiple injuries and a major midseason roster shift.
