Milwaukee Bucks center Jericho Sims suffered a thumb injury during the game against the Indiana Pacers on March 15, and he may require surgery to repair it.

Although Sims played in the Bucks' loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder 105-121 on Sunday, head coach Doc Rivers shared some concerning news before the game.

"It's a pretty good injury. Probably decisions will have to be made," Rivers commented on Sims' injury via Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

"Yeah, it's a consideration for sure," the coach said when asked whether surgery was a possibility for Sims.

Bucks center himself expressed uncertainty about the situation, not being sure how the injury situation will unfold.

"It's to be determined. I'm not sure what direction I'm going or not," Sims said.

So far this season, Sims has been averaging 3.7 rebounds, 1.8 points, and 0.6 assists per game. He saw an increased role and more minutes after Bobby Portis' suspension.
