Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving suffered a season-ending ACL tear in his left knee.
The Dallas Mavericks have suffered another major injury setback, as star guard Kyrie Irving has torn the ACL in his left knee, ending his season, according to Shams Charania of ESPN.
Irving sustained the injury during Monday's game against the Sacramento Kings, which the Mavs lost 98-122. He left in the first quarter after injuring his left knee and did not return.
Irving had been exceptional for the Mavericks this season, averaging 25.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.
This injury is a devastating blow to the Mavericks' playoff hopes, as they are currently sitting 10th in the Western Conference with a 32-30 record.
